This is Liu Kang. He is the immortal champion of Mortal Kombat after defeating Shang Tsung.

This is Sonya Blade. She is a crime fighter on Earth before Shao Kahn strikes.

This is Kurtis Stryker. He is an American fighting alongside Earth's own forces.

This is Smoke. He has been programmed by Shao Kahn to fight Sub Zero.

This is Sub Zero. His secrets are instrumental in putting an end to Shao Kahn's menace.

This is Cyrax. He was a member of Sub Zero's clan, but he was reprogrammed by Shao Kahn.

This is Kung Lao. He was defeated by Goro in the first Mortal Kombat.

This is Sheeva. She is personal guard to Queen Sindel.

This is Sektor. He is also a robot programmed by Shao Kahn.

This is NightWolf. He is an Indian and fighting alongside the Earth Warriors.

This is Kabal. He was badly injured by Kahn's extermination squads and breathes artificially.

This is Shao Kahn, emperor of Outworld. He wishes to capture the Earth Realm.

This is Motaro. He is the general of Kahn's armies.

HERE ARE SOME STRATEGIES -

To beat Shao Kahn : Shao Kahn is a tough guy to beat and you should be very careful. Wait for him to try his Wham's. Block and then give him the uppercut. Don't get hit by his fireball or his axe. They finish off a lot of your energy. You can nail him using your specials like Cyrax's net or Sub Zero's freeze but that's not too effective with everybody.

To beat Motaro : You have to keep jumping and kicking, or giving him uppercuts. Stay clear of his fireballs and his punches. You can't choose any specific player to beat him.
